VA Course Load Classification

For calculating VA benefits for graduate courses, each student is classified according to the following criteria:

3 credits (8 weeks) = 3/4 time

6 credits (8 weeks) = full time

3 credits (10 weeks) = 1/2 time 

6 credits (10 weeks) = full time

NOTE: BSU students, to be eligible, must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above prior to advancement to candidacy, or 3.0 or above after advancement to candidacy.
